This picture always made me wondering if it’s my fault when I cannot see any Beauty sign around me, or if it hides at times to remind me of how bad I feel without it.

A great experience, as always if you are “lucky enough” to go there.

There happened a lot of things, but, the first amazing one happened while I was reaching my Hotel in Rimini:

This little butterfly was flying all around us, stop on this rusted railing, or whatever it is, and stopped just for the time of 3 shots.

Some friends said that it was a pity that it was on a rusted object, I don’t think so… or we couldn’t say that Beauty can be found everywhere.

It was cold, cooler than I thought because it had rained the previous afternoon and the moon rose, making the “seeing” less good, but there was something of really good to enjoy:

the just risen, amazing, moon!

We went to sleep (at about 3.30 am) saying to each other: “We’ll wake at 5am and see how the sky looks like”… we woke up at 7am, and just because the sun had just “risen” from the nearby little wood! ;D
We surely couldn’t go back of 2 hours, but we went out to check if there was some amazing … nothing.
But, we’ve notice a little bashful  “young lady”, that showed itself just the time of a couple of pictures and then flown away… as it just wanted to wish a “Good Morning”…

or just didn’t want to distract me from another amazing show, that I wish I could see from my window in Catania, but that I can just see at my country house…

… and this show allowed me to take the best picture of the day, and I even hadn’t thought that I was going to take a picture of Mt. Etna

It’s so weird that, if we talk about picture, I have no problem if something goes in a way I didn’t plan, and to be able to appreciate the unexpected.
With the passing of time, looks like that this “maybe-gift” and “sure-distraction” of taking pictures is, somehow, the way that Someone is using to tell me:

No, I am not crazy. Oh… well, Actually I am quite crazy, but I am serious now: I cannot see well what I am typing, because I am doing it from my bed and the “cmd”+”+”  isn’t working, so I cannot zoom in the characters… I guess I will survive.

But, I left this blog for a too long time, and I don’t want it cries, so I decided to leave a few words.
I know quite nobody is visiting this site, but the site is still pretty new, I have to wait and hope, and “work”.

Well… working with photography is a kind of vacation for me… so, I can say that since tuesday I am on vacation.
The 23rd June 2009 I didn’t pass the test, well actually getting no more than 21/30 for me is so annoying, that I preferred to repeat, again, the test…I hate to repeat tests, but I know I can do more, a lot more. Too Proud? Probably. Surely?

Anyway, in the evening of the 23rd June, instead of just lying on my bed, crying and complaining I kept my promise to go to take pictures during a “social dinner” of a congress. The guests were university professors of maths coming from all over the world (more or less).

A weird thing? Yeah, but better than be lying on bed crying or drinking beer…even if I have never did the second and got no intention to do it.

I kept my promise to take picture even for the following 2 days, just for the attempt to “catch” in a shot each of those teachers, just for “par condicio”
I tried, I am not sure I have been able to do it. We’ll see.

Anyway, I don’t want to tell more, at the moment, about these last days.

For sure, I have met nice people, who I wish will give me the permission to show up their “portrait”.

For the moment I will just show what I saw after I took some pictures during a cofee break. Thanks Lord there was the sun and one of His creatures didn’t run away when I got close enough to get it:

Nothing special, humans had a “coffee break” few minutes before I took this picture of a butterfly is having its break… I thought it was kinda funny.

Busy days, fortunately.
I hate doing nothing that amaze me. Who would like?
Yesterday I went to my country house (800 mt above sea level)… a lot of people here have a country house somewhere on Mt Etna. Anyway, yesterday was a cloudy day, so I had the chance to take only a couple of  “on the average” shots. The taking off butterfly is one of those… I hope I can try to take a similar, but better, shots soon. I hope you will enjoy this.

I should be studying, but that’s a weird period of my life… anyway, I am fleeing to take some pictures around Catania, I want to picture Building in Liberty Style.
I will talk about it later.
