I guess it’s time to be a little selfish

This blog languishes in a weird agony of silence!

Fortunately till a few days ago it was due to “lack of time for happy tasks”.
I spent 2 months and 1 day away from my sweet Sicily exploring how Beauty shines in the north-east of the USA and in the north-east of Italy.

Now travel is over, does it mean that it’s time to keep up posting?
Not really.

I’d like to focus on Christmas time, pictures editing, new beauty hunting.
Above all I must focus on whatever it’s up for me next.
In any case many things have to change.

If doesn’t work, I’ll just clean whole pictures folder up (and this task can take several months), pack everything and go to the next “adventure”.

Sweet squirrel in Boston - 20th October 2015

All I know so far is that is totally useless I try to stop taking pictures at all. I tried to stop in order to save time, it doesn’t work, eyes will keep seeking beauty.

Yet, as I wrote in the title, feels like it’s time to be a little selfish.

Not a real damage for the world despite it seems loving darkness and lack of beauty more than it should.

See you.

Good and bad

Animals never fight with no reasons.

Humans are bad.

They fight with no reason and are never spontaneously good.

Today I spent a day in Boston, alone, and in different moments and places 3 people have been super kind with me, for no reasons (they gained nothing out of those kind acts)

Oh, just personal experience.

True, humans are not animals.

Am I serious?
As much as you desire truth.
Actual truth.

It’s hard to tell but not impossible

Sunset on little lake, kayaking - 11th November 2015

There are things I am discovering during these weeks that I do not know how to tell and are almost impossible to collect in a photograph.

Yet the beauty of a sunset can help to focus what matters

It was a nice walk

Sunshine today in Vermont, I have an occasion to go to the big town nearby and so well, I tried.

Walking alone in a town/city that isn’t my hometown is no longer super new to me, but yet it’s new enough to still worry me to the point to not start taking pictures immediately.

Step by step feelings has changed from “being an alien in a foreign land” to “Beauty shines everywhere and it could be a nice way to feel closer to Home”.

One of the last pictures I have taken today is this

Lake Champlain - 10th November 2015

And soon later was lunch time, but there shined another kind of beauty; that kind of Beauty I generally love to keep more private.

Home is where Beauty is

Yet no where feels like Home, neither home.

Following kids’ curiosity

Stones underwater - 2nd November 2015

I was so focused on seeking the picture that showed where I was that I forgot to really look at things

Two little kids, meanwhile, where instead attracted by stones and how it was possible to see those underwater

I gave a look at what attracted them this much and … just look above.
