No pictures on my way.

I mean, I have been taking pictures for almost an hour
but I hadn’t found A picture that I might loved to share.

All the bad thoughts that are running in my mind since Sunday were back

Leave any hope.

FORGET PHOTOGRAPHY

I was walking along a stairway.
I was on THAT stairway in the
not-so-secret place
where I love to go.

I was walking down those steps when I saw just a leaf

On a rock.

I was surrounded by trees

but that leaf was exactly
in
one
of the few
illuminated spots.

It was there,

left,
isolated,
useless,
dead or almost dead,
brown on white-grey living stuff
the beauty in the decay.

A charming non-sense that made a lot of sense for me.

I felt like it was a portrait of me.

Why not studying first?
The iMac yesterday had only 6 free GB, today is at 15… of 500.

A week ago I thought I were completely unable to create such a thing.
I know, there are people that can make way better works and this one is pretty simple, but…
I fear that, for what concern the artistic field, my learning process can be described as “random learning”, a method that is far away from the “noble” self-study method.

So… I hope you won’t mind if I am proud of these little works ^_^

And I am not talking about the fact that one of the speakers is my boyfriend: the webmaster!!!

If I were an artist, I would have titled this picture with sentences like:

“the beauty of age”,

“the beauty of the past”,

“the sign of time flow”

“That light caressing the old ones”

If I were an artist I would have said something like: “Oh, taking this picture I felt like I was able to undersand everything of life!”

If I were an other kind of artist I would have said something like: “Oh, yeah, this picture opens such a wide range of questions about life and its meaning!”

If I were an artist I would have spit on such a picture.

I can’t even remember well the reasons of this shot, taken a year ago.

I might guess I liked the way the outside and this leaf were lit by the sunlight filtered by clouds, and that something I can’t name probably caught my attention, that day and today.

I’m sorry I can’t reveal the meaning or meaninglessness of life…

I remember people saying “you are crazy”.

There are several meaning that the people I know give to the word “crazy”, the meaning range goes from the “really mentally insane” to the “curious and funny in a good way”.

Yesterday I spent about 10 minutes on the floor in my room contemplating the lamp hanging from the ceiling…

It had something that was curious but that I couldn’t understand. I have beening moving on the floor in order to look at the lamp from the different point of view allowed to a person lying on the floor.

Centering it, the lamp looked both convex and concave, I know the reason of this “optical illusion”, but I still find it amazing enough to spend 10 minutes lying on the floor to take a picture of a simple lamp.

I think that yesterday my friends would use the word crazy with the first meaning.

Work is over, everything went (except a little note on the printing, they turned the colors much darker and wasted a little the effect of those) and now we can go ahead in this year.
