Fall colors in Springtime
April 9, 2012

It seems like I am going to waste the picture adding a few lines of words,
but I think it’s nice to know that when I saw that lights and shadows game, that butterfly on that flower, I was just reading a book on the swing seat on my balcony…
I think it’s impossible to hate such a day.

In the Italian version of this post I borrowed Rondoni’s words to express what I thought while and after I have taken this picture.
This Italian author express a really interesting concept in the few lines I found on the Italian version of Traces journal, but I don’t feel good enough in English to translate someone’s words from Italian to English language.
Therefore, for the first time since I have opened this blog, I have to write 2 different posts… In the English version of the post I want to just report the “meaning” of the few words of this author writing that made me thinking about the picture I had taken on Sunday under a light rain.
Those lines helped me saying what this simple picture meant to me: the idea that Spring comes slowly, with little changes of colors and air. This “slow motion” that you can see a feel in these weeks has always fascinated me, but I have never been able to express this through words…till today I was able only to take pictures of this idea.
I hope Rondoni won’t mind I had used his words this way. ^_^

Work is over, everything went (except a little note on the printing, they turned the colors much darker and wasted a little the effect of those) and now we can go ahead in this year.
On the left the calendar for a friend, on the right the one for my bedroom
In these “vacations” weeks I’ll have to deal with a lot of picture I’ve taken and never edited,
and with the even bigger ammount of pictures I’ve downloaded on my computerwithout following an order… this happens since March, and now I’ve a folder of about 15,ooo items that i’ve to clean up.

These are the pleasant “problems” of my life… not bad at all! ^_^
Probably not among the best pictures I’ve ever taken but that’s what I’ve chosen for my iMac desktop

and that’s what is shown as tablet pc desktop

The thoughts that comes at looking at these pictures are a lot, but I don’t feel like sharing them in written form.
You can catch them from the pictures, and if you cannot catch them, you can always find your own thoughts.
Have a nice everything

LOL, I’ve just learn that there is the expression “See red” in English too!
I’m not angry, I’m just being silly
Picture taken while the webmaster was blowing a bubble merged with another one. He says he can see a frog in the middle of the pictures… Have I to get worried for his mental health?
This picture (1 week old) is one of the first pictures that catches what I call the “violet status”. This bubble status is one of the very first moment in a soap bubble life.
Violet as all other colors are shown due to the intereference and reflection of light with the soap film. This cause that initially it shows violet/blue reflection, after comes all the colors in the spectrum sequence, till ending up with a golden yellow.
Therefore, the violet color is visible only soon after you’ve blown the bubble… and if you blow the bubble and then you’ve to take the camera and set the focus you might loose the moment when that color is shown.
Well, another cause of the different colors shown in the pictures is probably different inclination of those “bubble walls”, but I surely don’t want to write a scientific post at the moment. I was just giving a general explanation.
There is a lot to know about soap bubbles (seems strange but this is true) and I’m still at a very starting point.
